In the past, I bought quite a few domain names with the intention of building an application, website, funny little page, or anything in-between. The majority of those sites are sitting completely unused. I doubt they are popular domains or very desirable, but in case they are, I’ve put together a little page saying “I’m not squatting on this domain name” and letting people e-mail me if they want the domain name. And I will sell it to them for what I paid for it. Why not; I’m not using it. And squatters suck! Yeah, I’ll let them expire when that time comes, but I usually did 2+ year registration (ah, being overzealous).

Necessary pre-requisites
- PHP (tested with PHP 4 and PHP 5)
- The ability to send mail from PHP (see: http://php.net/manual/en/function.mail.php )
Instruction to set it up
- Sign up for re-catpcha at http://www.recaptcha.net and copy your public and private keys.
- Open index.php and put your public key in the top
- Open send.php and put your private key and email address in the top
