Sports: for many of us, we just can’t live without them. Unfortunately, many sports content providers block access by location, meaning that you can’t watch that UK football match when you’re traveling in Dubai, or you’re out of luck if you live in Italy but have a hankering for some American baseball.

Lucky for us, there’s a pretty easy way to watch sports from practically anywhere: just use a VPN!

To use a VPN to watch sports outside the country or zone the game is being broadcasted in, all you need to do is use your VPN to connect via a server in whichever country has the  game you’re trying to see. So to watch Manchester United, switch over to a UK server; to watch the New England Patriots, hop on a server in the United States.

But How Does it Work?

By using a VPN to connect to a server in the country the game is being broadcasted from, you mask your IP address’s location, making the sports content provider think you’re watching the Giro D’Italia from Milan when in fact you’re sitting on a beach somewhere in Dubai.
